we must say good-bye to the Bush Decade; it’s hard to believe that we
will ever have the opportunity again to relive in current time the
lawlessness of the Wild West and Death Valley Days simultaneously.
People can complain all they want about the huge problems he left us,
what with a worldwide economic collapse looming, the looting of the
Treasury and the burgeoning of the National Debt to the point that
experts are saying we’ll never again experience the prosperity we once
enjoyed prior to Bush, and let’s not forget his backsliding on the
environment so that the Doomsday Clock for planetary annihilation had
to be set only minutes away from midnight — the end of all life and
time as we know it.
But when again are we going to experience a Presidency that is capable of engaging the Nation in Time Travel!?
When again are we going to be able to experience the 19th Century and
the corporations, lacking an FDA, able to manhandle, murder, and poison
the American populace at will, with complete government disinterest?
But with Haliburton and Cheney from Wyoming setting the agenda, the
Wild West is the time we most got to understand and experience. Justice
was determined by might and wealth, just like in the days of old.
So how can we thank this former President with his wizard-like abilities?
