Fukushima Alert! Apocalypse Now?

Fukushima Apocalypse. Is this the end of the world? For real this time?

Linda Ayres shared this yesterday:

The radiation contamination from the melting down reactors is already contaminating the sea, and the air, and the food, and the children and all living things on this planet. The scientists believe there is no ‘solution’ to this extinction level event (except the ‘mad scientists’ who allege there is no danger in a nuclear holocaust). However, stopping the airborne spewing of the 1400 lethal radioactive isotopes will slow down this death machine.

We have nearly 10 months of non-stop radiation contamination hitting the planet…the radioactive debris from Japan has just recently hit the shores of North America….what do you think that travelling radiation did to the oceans?

Never before in the history of mankind has there been a disaster of this magnitude. Reactors require cooling pools … Fukushima lost its cooling pools in March…so you see, we’re doomed on those counts.

Advocates of genocide and death machines allege there is no real problem with multiple reactors melting down, contaminating the entire planet, and the same crowd also thinks the leaking radiation from local reactors is ‘harmless’. KNK – killer nuke knuckleheads….the crowd leading the lies….
Research the impacts of radiation poisoning…the kids will die first, around the world….genetic mutations…lots of illness and death…in Japan and around the world.

[The question of why it would be a good idea to put the nukes in the ocean since that will contaminate all the oceans of the globe and perhaps kill them off] is a common question. It’s been asked since March 11….meanwhile, the contamination of the planet accelerates….. World Powers must immediately address the issue, or they will have no one left to ‘govern’. Love one another like there is no tomorrow, as it is being cancelled….

Some comments:

To a comment that the above is full of hyperbole, I responded:

Michael Adzema: If she is only 1% correct, it is more important than 99% of the crap that gets shared on FB and takes up people’s time. The problem we have is with people’s inability to look at things this horrible. So I understnad why you would want to think the way you do. I want to think the way you do, too. But my reason tells me that would be foolish, since only a tiny fraction of this would mean death on a scale never before seen. Enjoy your denial while you can… And I very much hope you are right and she and I are fools.

Temujin Subodai:  The should have entombed it while they had the chance. Just like Chernobyl. Just like Michio Kaku recommended.

Michael Adzema: That crossed my mind, too. I thought that was where we were headed, actually. But from this news it seems it has gone way beyond that by now. I’ve got no upnote to leave on.

Gela Onthemove: horrendous catastrophe to all life on this planet – how can anyone ignore it ?- I still have in my ears the refusal to international help offered to Tepco and Japan – in the very first days after the Tsunami…

Michael Adzema: I agree, Gela. And apparently too horrendous to be thought about…hence the reason it was never handled in any way that would have given us a chance. We are app going to die off like bacteria that has overrun its petri dish. I hope I am a fool and am wrong.

To a comment equating nuclear radiation with that which comes from the sun and wanted to hear more about actual radiation levels, I  responded.

Michael Adzema:  I think what you say is the propaganda they put out. Ann Coulter once said, “Radiation is good for you.” You are in bed with her. If you don’t like that, you need to rethink your position and do more research. I have. What I have found out is that you are horrifically wrong.

Btw, I have a little experience in this area. I was one of the group that brought nuclear power construction to a halt in the US in the early 80s. I worked on this full time for years. And we were right about what we said back then, as Fukushima has shown.

I have articles I could direct anyone to. I think that responses like this one are mostly part of people’s understandable defense systems to this kind of horror and that there is no real interest in knowing the facts.

One has to wonder, with disasters of this sort being expected, humankind historically so reliable, just where do the monied interests who push this sort of crap plan to go, once the earth is no longer habitable? Has the profit margin so blinded them to reality, that they just cannot see? I suppose so.

This is how I feel about those who want to quibble over the figures of the ongoing apocalypse upon us from Fukushima (which is only one of many we need to face, as my readers know).

I believe this discussion is like arguing over the size of the kitchen table while the house is burning down. I encourage everyone to do their research. As Dr. Helen Caldicott said, the nuclear industry is banking on us not waking up until the solid cancers show up in 12 to 16 years. But people have already died and are dying in droves.

People who would be alive except for Fukushima…”excess deaths.” And you could be one of them, more soon than you want to believe. It is up to you whether you want to face it or not. I have no stake in this.

There are many who are courageous enough to face this. I’ll let others deal with the folks in denial. We don’t have time for that. We’ll try to save them either way. We don’t require any fucking “conversion” on this or anything. I’m getting nothing out of this but the feeling of doing the right thing in an emergency (mixed in with the slings and arrows from those who attack because they are terrified of knowing).

He put this vid out today and I wanted to share it, too.

Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi and Daini nuclear power plants are in crisis as the world’s worse disaster to date. Billions of people will and are being affected (without even knowing it) and it seems it’s not being talked about in the MSM. Some people I’ve talked to in passing didn’t even know anything about this (I can’t help but feel I’m living in the Twilight Zone at times).

Things will be coming from this catastrophe for years to come and some a lot longer than that.

This woman, Dr. Helen Caldicott, M.D., stated at the Canadian News Conference in Montreal on March 18, 2011 for “The Dangers of Nuclear War” that Fukushima’s meltdown in Japan is far worse than Chernobyl (many times over in proportion) and I think those that were aware of this already knew that… I’m glad to see people speaking about the truth on what is really going on.

Here is some of what she said in the vid:

“Mark 1 GE Reactors, 3 engineers have quit – knew they were dangerous
    uranium = 4.5 billion years
    6 nuclear reactors at risk
E=mc² (the energy that blows up bombs)
Plutonium, named after Pluto (god of the underworld)
1/1,000,000 of a gram (if inhaled) will give you cancer. Hypothetically, 1 pound (if evenly distributed) could give everyone on earth cancer.
Each reactor has 250 kilograms of plutonium (you only need 2.5 kgs to make a bomb)
Radiative Iodine = 6 weeks = thyroid cancer
Radioactive Iodine 192 = 1/2 life is 17 million years
Strontium 90 = 600 years = bone cancer and leukemia
    Cesium = 600 years
    and more….

When it rains comes the fallout (acid rain) and will determine whether you get it or not.

All Radiation is damaging and is accumulative.

When it rains and the radiation comes down:
    …don’t grow food
    …don’t eat the food
    …and I mean don’t eat the food for 600 years…”

——- DID YOU CATCH THAT???? DON’T EAT THE FOOD FOR 600 YEARS? —– Doesn’t give us a lot of options, does it?!

Stay vigilant and remember seek the truth; don’t just trust what you hear on the news (remember who they work for).

  9. sillymickel says:

Nuclear advocates often paint those who oppose them as Luddites who are afraid of, or don’t understand, technology, or as hysterics who exaggerate the dangers of nuclear power.

One might recall the sustained attack over many decades by the tobacco industry upon the medical profession, a profession that revealed the grave health dangers induced by smoking.

Smoking, broadly speaking, only kills the smoker. Nuclear power bequeaths morbidity and mortality — epidemics of disease — to all future generations.

The millions of lives lost to smoking in the era before the health risks of cigarettes were widely exposed will be minuscule compared to the medical catastrophe we face through the continued use of nuclear power.
