Senator Reid has been pilloried for two solid days over the weekend by
TV pundits and in particular by hypocritical Republicans, who have
actually gone so far as to demand Reid’s RESIGNATION(!) for noticing
the color of then candidate Obama’s skin. On the Sunday morning talk
show “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Robert Reich, in a rare
instance of anyone fighting back on this nonsense, clarified the utter
irrationality of these attacks to Liz Cheney: “Race is a fact in
America. Talking about race does not make you a racist.”
I would add to Idiot Liz, “Is your position that if you notice people’s
skin color that you are a racist? If you’re that unobservant that you
don’t see people’s color (have you not managed to see people’s tans
either?), then how come you Republicans are so much for (racial)
profiling? I mean who would be able to do it?. Guess you’d have to hire
nothing but racists, huh?
I’m appalled at the utter inability of the majority of the pundits to
do simple logical thinking. But then they’re not trying to. Aren’t they
just trying to throw raw meat to angry people, who have NO ability to
think logically, who aren’t rational — you know, teabaggers, George
Bush, Sarah O’Pallin (he he).
Brave New World has arrived. 40% of the population are on Soma (i.e.,
one of the many antidepressants that are being used instead of insight
or feeling therapy), which keeps them unable to put sentences together
logically. And the Republicans manipulate these sheep people, like
they’re keys on a national keyboard, with which they can belt out any
national tune/ national mood that they wish.
I guess I’m going on “the walk.” It seems the only end to this
insanity we see, as we experience “The Downfall of the American Empire”
— followed shortly by the planetary annihilation that is inevitable.

Later, when Liz Cheney accused Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of being a racist, it was Will who fought back.
Cheney claimed it was “inexcusable” for liberals to defend Harry Reid for saying privately
that Barack Obama could win the election because he’s a “light-skinned”
African American “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”
A spirited back and forth between the two followed.
WILL:
I don’t think there’s a scintilla of racism in what Harry Reid said. At
long last, Harry Reid has said something that no one can disagree with,
and he gets in trouble for it.
CHENEY: George, give me a break. I mean, talking about the color of the president’s skin…
WILL: Did he get it wrong? CHENEY: … and the candidate’s…
WILL: Did he say anything false?
CHENEY: … it’s — these are clearly racist comments, George.
WILL: Oh, my, no.
